I am on a 2-week roadtrip through US and Canada. GPS using Full Database works great in US from MN to ID, updating location and frequencies as expected. Now in Yoho NP NW of Calgary and no Canadian content. My database on Sentinel shows complete Canadian coverage. When I go to Set Nationwide System, the Canadian options don't show "on" or "off", just "---". When I try to set location after selecting Canada I am unable to enter any digits of a postal code.

Thoughts?

As a test I put the zip code for the Yoho National Park in my bcd436 to see if the latest database is ok. My scanner is trying to scan lots of frequencies in Alberta and other places. Try manually entering zip code V0A (that's a zero not the letter O) and see if you can scan anything. Maybe you aren't getting a GPS signal? I am in North Carolina so obviously I won't be receiving anything in Canada but the database has lots of data for your area.

Enjoy your trip. I am envious

The GPS position is working. Took me seamlessly from MN to ID and shows correct lat/long now. I cannot enter any digits into the "zip" code box when I select Canada. Also the Canada-specific otions under Set Nationwide System are grayed out "---". Makes me think I inadvertently did something to eliminate Canadian frequencies despite them showing up in my Sentinel database.
