I wish to get a key for the DMR reception. I don't find the ESIN, is this just the serial number?
If I go to upgrade, it asks for the key. I find nowhere that lists what the price of this upgrade is.

How do I avoid a station? I pressed the function key but did not see an option for avoid like it says in the manual, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

To avoid a channel, temporarily, press the Avoid key while the scanner is stopped on it. A temporary Avoid will clear itself the next time the scanner boots up.

To avoid permanently, on the scanner directly, as opposed to setting the avoid in Sentinel, either press the Avoid key twice, in rapid succession. Or,press the Function key before hitting Avoid one time.

The ESN (electronic serial number) can be viewed via the Settings menu on the scanner's menu.

In the scanner's menu, scroll down all the way & select Settings

Select the last item on the Settings menu, "See Scanner Information".

On the Information screen, select Firmware Information

That will show you the current firmware on the scanner, and the ESN is the last line in that sub-menu.

We do have ham DMR and a local school uses DMR, so depending on the price is whether it is worth it to me.
I'm still looking for the "avoid" button...on the SDS200 it's easy...doesn't seem to be for the 100 (at least until I find it).
The Uniden site has been pretty much lacking for me.

It is disguised as the button that says “AVOID” in lower left corner of keypad.
