I have been having this issue for a while now while attempting to scan multiple P25 systems.

While scanning, the radio just flashes talkgroups but won't hold on one and play any audio. These talkgroups are not encrypted and this system works just fine on my 436 sitting right next to my SDS 100.

I have tried messing with the filters, but this will only occasionally help.

Are you using the same file to program both scanners? The SDS100 uses site NAC's where the BCD436HP does not. You could be missing a site if the NAC is incorrect. Try setting the SDS100 to Ignore Site NAC.

Ignore site NAC is my default already. Yes I am using the same file, but making sure to select the proper target scanner before programming.

So filter adjustment will change how successful you are. Then try IFX, that has to be entered when holding on to the frequency, or enter on the keypad Channel+freq+Channel. If you got enough signal strength then enable the Attenuator.

I've tried IFX for the past few days and its helped a bit, but it's still having some issues.

I've also noticed when there's no scan list selected, it had a crackling noise instead of a static noise....which I believe it used to have static instead.

Also, my reception on VHF seems pretty degraded as well..
