SDS100/SDS200: SDS100 screen says BCD 436

When I power up my SDS100 the startup screen says it is BCD436HP. I let it do a firmware via sentinel. Honestly I do not remember if it always said that. Wonder if I did something wrong.

Did you have the SDS100 selected as the Target Model in Sentinel the last time you wrote to the scanner?

Edit Profile then Display Options

Changing the target model does not change the opening text message...

It can be changed as buddrousa mentioned above, by using the profile editor in Sentinel and then "writing" it to the scanner.

You can save the Profile for each scanner... I do...
You just have to remember to Open and load the profile for what scanner your working with...
I also load the Display option settings too... Since my 100 and 200 are different...

If I was a betting guy, a 436 Profile somehow worked its way into your scanner. I can see this happening when someone tries to share programming and forgets to change these "little" settings.

Bottom line is, there is no harm. It can say anything and will still work just fine.
