On the old scanners Uniden modes, you’re able to turn on and off systems and sub systems by simply hitting the quick key, or hitting function+quick key. How do you make that possible with the SDS? I can’t turn off any systems and it’s just scanning EVERYTHING.

Setup Favorite List and turn them on and off using the quick keys.

Sounds like you are scanning the full database and haven't setup anything using Sentinel.

What is the model number of the scanner you are familiar with?

If the systems are in the same favorites list, while scanning, press the decimal point, then press the system quick key number, and then press E to toggle a system on and off.

Update. Unfortunately I posted before finding the answer. The quick keys were enabled but I didn’t know you need to toggle them using the decimal point. Thanks everyone! Sorry for bringing up a repetitive topic

If you want to toggle stuff as your location changes. It won't do much for base station use.
