Anyone have experience programming TGID in scanners? The phase two P25 channels for the Burlington, Iowa area specifically. I'm using the Sentinel program from Uniden because both radios are Uniden. An SDS101 and a BCD436HP. The Uniden channel guide for making a favorite list does not list Burlington or the Des Moines County Sheriffs Office as an option to program with the TGID numbers or any P25 options. Nor can I find a place to manually enter them. DESCOM is the local agency that dispatches all local EMS / Police/ Fire. I have no idea what I'm doing honestly but was able to make lists. Nothing shows for the P25 Burlington is using. I must be over thinking this.

Yeah that SDS101 is hard to find any relevant information on

Yeah, same with this
The Uniden channel guide

Des Moines was added 5 2025 so maybe update your Sentinels main database so you can see it.

While I don't have either one of those I remember adding TG manually to my 536 a time or two when I was still using Sentinel to program it. Been some time however so I don't remember how I did it.

I'm honestly surprised it's not there since it's in the DB here.

I noticed that some of the police tac talk groups are permanently encrypted.

You will be able to tell when you see TE under the mode column in the database.

Make sure your database is updated in the radios, and keep checking every week.
