While receiving 800mhz EDAC transmissions on the SDS200 I receive a low rumble/hum through the audio. All other bands and frequencies are fine. Anyone else experience this, and is there a fix, perhaps in the channel audio setting?

Pose that question to your regional scanner group. Check out RR Forums, scroll down to where they are listed by state. Without listening to what you have it’s just a guessing game. When you ask the regional group, list what agency & frequency you are hearing it on.

EDACS, if I recall, uses a 75 Hz subaudible tone as an activity signal.

That's what I was thinking as well. The tone should be filtered out from the speaker outputs but some radios don't filter it.
most scanners don't have high pass audio filters...filtering of 300 Hz and below.

If you are listening to simulcast you will get a lot of low frequency artifacts in some receivers.
