I use the Alert Tone AUTO option for selected talkgroups in the SDS100, 150 & 200. On the SDS100 & 150, the tone volume is very close to whatever speaker volume I have set.

However, the alert volume on the SDS200 is much lower with the speaker volume close to the level I use on the portables.

Not sure why it’s different. It read like this prior to the most recent firmware updates.

If it was possible to set a universal tone alert volume at the system level, it would be much simpler to use a different volume level in only one of the models.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Both key beep and alerts auto level are much lower in relation to the audio in the SDS200.

The volume offset setting only change the audio and not the alert auto that still use a 0 offset as its reference. If you set a -3 offset the alert will be much louder compared to the received audio. But then you'll need to set everything, conventional channels as well as TG's to -3 volume offset, not so practical. But your suggestion of adding a feature of a global alert auto offset would work much better and a good feature to have in any model, as well as Uniden could fix that incorrect keybeep/alert auto level they have done in SDS200. @jasonhouk
