Like I said, definitely a first-world problem. Yes I could just turn the clock off on each radio. But that was not something my brain wanted to accept
I also like to get accurate timestamp info for various agencies. It is rather telling to see how delays between agency communications will translate into real world situational differences.
Overall, between the three on my desk and one in a vehicle, each scanner either loses or gains about 30 seconds per week. It seems completely random as to what a certain radio will do. I don't have the capability/desire to hook each one up to the computer weekly, so the next best bet was GPS.
