Like I said, definitely a first-world problem. Yes I could just turn the clock off on each radio. But that was not something my brain wanted to accept :) I also like to get accurate timestamp info for various agencies. It is rather telling to see how delays between agency communications will translate into real world situational differences.

Overall, between the three on my desk and one in a vehicle, each scanner either loses or gains about 30 seconds per week. It seems completely random as to what a certain radio will do. I don't have the capability/desire to hook each one up to the computer weekly, so the next best bet was GPS.

It would be NICE if Uniden would allow scanners to update over LAN automatically like Windows or other devices do. Database updates automatically weekly without having to manually do it with Sentinel. WOW I know, I know not everyone has the scanner connected to the internet. Even my Blazer updates OTA LOL

The GPS updates the clock periodically when connected, but only to the nearest minute. The seconds are not updated for some reason...

I just realized why my clock is never off -- cuz I'm a dummie and have LAN plugged into a Virtual Desktop for Audio/over/Lan testing via ProScan (as my local ISP took over port forwarding away from us).
I'd take something from them....My business..

If my memory serves me right, you can just turn the clock color to black (or whatever background color you are using), and the numbers will just magically disappear.

You can do that or you can change what is displayed there (within some limits).

...and it's not already implemented in Sentinel, I think we've come up with another great wish-list item for Joe Bearcat.

Added. I don't think it is there currently. I understand it might be a rather complex procedure.

I will also add the request for an OFFSET to allow for drifting clock compensation. (that may be more easy)

Your ISP won't allow you to log into your router and change the configuration?

Yes, but it kept reblocking. Then, when you attempt to "delete" the IP or the Route, it just errors out. So I had to change the IP of the virtual and readd new ports .. seems to be working finally (fingers crossed) and has been for the past 4 days -- the link if anyone wants to test is in my profile (as web page). I can access it from my cell and had a coworker also access (prior to the last block) ..
