After updating some talkgroups, I notice now I can't hear MTO road crews on LMRN.
I was poking around the settings and found that he band plan for the tower didn't populate automatically.

I would like to enter the band plan, but have no clue as to how it should look in PROSCAN.
I tried copying line per line into PROSCAN and still getting no voice.

I monitor the Brantford site and was wondering if anyone had an example of how the band plan should look in PROSCAN.

Do you have the appropriate Service Type enabled? You don't need to enter a bandplan.

Make sure the MTO group had the location coordinates entered. Every once in a while, they don't get populated, so that group won't get scanned.

Any luck Andy from what I sent u today?
No. Not as yet.

I deleted the LMNR system, then re-imported it from the Sentinel DB. I checked or implemented all the suggestions given in the thread thus far. The band plan still failed to populate.
I will monitor the system and see if it works. Wish me luck.

If you can hear other TG's on the system then the bandplan isn't the issue.

I'm here a lot
Back in June, someone else encountered this problem with Sentinel. Let's look at the Band Plan

Also of note is the Spacing column header shows kHz, but the actual entries are MHz

My response was:

I encountered the same problem as you with the "out of range". I think I know why though. The default VHF Band Coverage is 137.0000 to 143.9875 NFM. So for a measly .0995 MHz we can't enter it in Sentinel. I don't think Uniden would care about our problems here in Ontario to change their software or hardware.

I'll tell you what does work in Sentinel, I reviewed the Band Plan in my BCD 536HP and only Band Plans 0,2,4,6 and C,E were populated. In other words, just enter the TDMA entries. Use the figures in Band Plan 2 for Band Plan 0.

With those settings, I am able to hear MTO crews. In fact, I just heard the MTO Gormley dispatcher say "My company I work for 511, will send a tow to your location."

So if you wipe out that bandplan it no longer receives?

Thanks much. That was the info I was looking for. Unfortunately after all that , sadly it made no difference. I will keep playing around and see what comes about. At least I still have my PSR 800 that works pretty good on LMRN.

I don't use a PSR-800 but looking at the docs Easier to Read Pro-668/PSR800 Digital Scanner and EZ-Scan/iScan Software Manual

For P25 Systems and Mixed (P25 and Motorola) Systems there are two types of systems: Explicit mode and Implicit mode channel assignment. Explicit mode systems include all information needed to determine voice frequencies on the control channel. For Explicit mode systems (most P25 systems), use the Auto-fill option. The system will automatically detect the band plan and populate the table for the system. You must supply the system's band plan for Implicit systems for the scanner using the Custom option to correctly determine voice frequencies. The Standard option will force the scanner to use the standard 700 and 800 MHz tables that are present on many systems.

You may want to see what the PSR-800 Band Plan is, too. If the system is set at Explicit or Implicit. If Implicit, then what is the Custom option set at then try to duplicate the Band Plan.

but have no clue as to how it should look in PROSCAN.
The band plan in ProScan is exactly the same format as it is in the scanner and Sentinel.

Andy:
I'm scared now to touch my settings. .

What were you trying to do, add a tower, a CC or VC?

Hey Eric,
I was doing a weekly update when this all started. All the other Phase II systems I monitor are working just fine.

I'm waiting for tomorrows' update to see if that makes any difference.

Was I able to help you with what I sent?
