Then you are looking at the wrong timer. It is under the Manage Favorites/'system name'/Review-Edit System/'system name'/Edit Sys Option/Set Hold Time.
Found it. However, when I modify this time (even from 0 to 10, or any other value), it has no affect. As a test I loaded the favorites with 4 different P25 systems and changed them all to 0, then 10. At this point I'm not sure what's going on. BTW, any time I reload from the computer, the value in this time defaults to 0 on my scanner. Using Proscan and Sentinel.

I don't know where it is in Proscan but in Sentinel when you edit a favorite list and look at the row of systems you'll find it right after quick keys and number tag. It probably says 0 sec now and will overwrite the value in the scanner when you load a new configuration.

As I understand the hold time are only in effect if the scanners squelch detects a signal from any of the sites frequencies that have been programmed.

You're correct, and the test I described before was invalid. I had loaded several "Networks" [Alabama Interoperative Radio System, Tennessee Advanced Comm Network, etc] thinking that was a"system". That's why it didn't change. The first child of these networks is the system. I modified the test and the hold time does work as expected now, although with the setting at 0 the delay is a little more than a second. I guess that's the natural response/recognition time. Wish it were faster, but Iguess it has to scan alot of channels for each.
Thanx for your help.
