When running Discovery on my SDS200 I'm often times getting hits with recording times but when I go to review I'm getting a Replay No Recordings message
I never saw this message on my HP or 500. Can someone explain?

That one place...
Mine does that when it found encrypted stuff.

It will record the hit, and says it is recording. But it don't actually record the audio to play it back.

So based on my personal experience, I would say that your scanner was in the discovery mode and it was picking up the encryption. It logged the hit, but doesn't actually record the audio like it says it is doing.

When I first encountered the same issue on my end, I was wondering WTF was going on. So I decided to go to those freq. and monitor them to see why it was doing that. Actually on a few of the freqs. and they all were encrypted.

I had the same issue.
When you set up the Discovery session, set Compare to Database to off. When Compare is on it will not record any transmission that has an identified TG. It will log it, so you will see hundreds of zero length transmissions. If its still zero length then its encrypted as was already mentioned. And set the Recording Duration to the maximum.
