If I enter my location and set range in Sentinel, would that maybe speed up scan rate and reduce so many transmissions from getting the first part of them cut off? Thanks! :)

In your location settings you can set the Range. I think it defaults t0 20 miles which is more like 30+ miles when you consider the range. Try setting it at 5 miles, maybe even 2.

Lowering the range may reduce how many systems it is trying to scan. Remember that the range the scanner uses, in determining which systems will be enabled for your location, is the sum of the range you set, plus the range set for the system in the database.
How it Works: Location, Location, Location
