So I have read the Easy To Read Manual and read the Quick Key section but I must be missing something as I can't get it to work. I have 2 favorites lists... I set 0 for the first list and 1 for the second list. If I hit 0 I get a screen with a 0 the F0 S- D- ... as I read the doc... hit E should then switch the scanner to list 1 my first list... (this is done while I am using list 2 ....what am I missing?

Well I did Settings, Manage Favorites, selected list 1, Set FL Quick Key, Highlight 0 then I hit the E key... Also did it with hitting the Function key...
Same on list 2 but highlighted 1... so maybe im not doing the Set FL Quick Key correctly?

Don’t you use software to program your scanner? Sentinel or other? I’ve never done this exact setting directly on scanner, but will check next time I’m in front of it … if someone doesn’t respond sooner.

You don't have the lists monitored on. Go to Menu -> Set Scan Selection -> Select Lists to Monitor -> Find your favorite list and turn it on.
If the list is monitored off, it doesn't matter what the quick key setting is, it won't be available.

Mike, that seems to have changed the screen, but still not sure how to just switch from list 1 (that im scanning) to list 0... now when I hit 0 while scanning list 1 (qk 0 for list 0, qk 1 for list )... the F: now shows F:01... I thought if I hit enter it would switch me to list 0 but it just syas QK 00 is now off...

If you want to stop monitoring list 2 and monitor just list 1, you have to turn on QK for 1 and turn off QK for 2. Same process, the status of QK flips to opposite status. What you are describing sounds like you want to use number tags.

I figured it out! my brain had a firewall on... so when I was trying to go to list 1, I was typing 1... what I needed to do is type 0 to turn off 0 leaving 1 the only active list... which is what jtwalker said above but I was not understanding what he said... so I am good to go...this forum is amazing!
