I turned on the scanner this morning and noticed that my SDS200 is operating like it has never done in the past!

I mainly listen to the Somerset County, NJ operating system, and the NJSP.

I'm hoping this is not a temporary thing, or a skip in the airways.

I don't know why, but loving it!

Ummmm…Tropo does little for nearby reception of signals. So looking at the original post on this thread, it appears to be local systems and sites. If true tropo is likely not helping. If anything it can hurt. I saw this recently as Site 28 Martinsville was overridden by Cape May. Unclear to me whats up,

Well it sure as hell makes me happy when there's a tropo, because then I'm able to hear everything short of Disneyland lol! My 200 turns into a New radio !
