After updating my database on my Home Patrol 2 using the latest Cape May county database I can no longer hear anything from the PD, public works or emergency squad. Can hear beach patrol and fire dispatch and fire ground coms. PD and Emt dispatch and working frequencies are silent. Any help would be appreciated. I live hear and am lost. Please help.

Can you verify each service type is turned on in your radio? (Law Dispatch, Tac, etc, Public Works, anything related to EMS?)
see this link
If they are disabled, the scanner will skip over them even if they are programmed on a favorites list

I have Sea isle city Pd programmed into 2 different scanners and hear no activity. Frequency that I am using is 155.565 025dpl. Scanners are home patrol 2 and a pro-2052. Neither is picking up a transmission. Any help appreciated.

 Hmmm, the reason they are quiet is... they have a new VHF frequency!
Just found this, was licensed in March (3/1/19)

151.0775 RPTR (Input 156.1650) WRCY913

Need PL/DPL (if it has not changed to put into DB!(y)

Yes it's a newer frequency steep and older scanners round it up. Depening how far away you are from Sea Isle you should hear it with a little distortion.
Just discovered SICPD's new frequency
151.0775, unfortunately my scanner (pro 90) rounds the freq up to 151.0800. Any thoughts?

It's moot....with all of the switching back and forth that OC and Upper are doing this weekend and today, I've been monitoring (logging with ArcXT) all of the activity for OC/Upper and SIC.....Sea Isle police have not changed from their normal 155.565 PL D025...nothing is happening on 151.0775 that I can see

Thank you for the replies. Normal SICPD dispatch channel appears to be broadcasting as usual. I have heard nothing on the new licensed frequency (which is rounded up on my scanner) and I am on-island. Good to know I am not missing anything.
