I was able to tour the USCG Cutter Steadfast and The USS Cleveland (LPD-7).

I was so hoping to visit the other ships. I think I missed out on two U.S navy ships and H.M.C.S Edmondton from the Canadian coast guard.

If anyone toured the other ships, or knows what the names of the others were. Would you please post that information here?

I was hoping to find control channels for any or all of the ships, I couldn't find any. Perhaps if they had them the radio systems were turned off?

I did see the security detail talking on portable radio's. Even with signal stalker on my Pro97. I couldn't find their communications. Perhaps they were using a digital system?

I started to take my Nikon d50 with me to get better images. Instead I opted for taking my little kodak dx 7630. Which I now realize was a mistake as I would have gotten much better wide angle shots. :(

about seafair, yesterday i went to watch the hydros and blue angels. i could pick up hydro freqs very easily. and also there was a lot of boat patrols (from different agencies) talking. seafair is a pretty exciting place for scanner people like me :)

i couldn't get the angels tho (my scanner isn't capable)

Would you please post the frequencies used by the hydros.. Any additional frequency information would be appreciated as well.

sry, i just checked the forum today (and i think they'll be gone until next year). i was getting them around 155-160 mhz. i can't find the exact freqs (my scanner's not easy to recall info). one of my videos has the audio i recorded in it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=em9C74OiMjc

i got a freq that all the choppers were talking on today: 8180375
