Monitor all the Blue Angels frequencies, as for anything else to monitor. I wish I could be of more help. I know 277.8 will be very active with the navy. U.S Coast guard and coast guard auxiliary should be in the clear on the old vhf marine band working frequencies.

Blue Angels are in the air as I type familiarizing themselves with the area. Activity on 275.3500, 284.2500, 305.9000 (all are AM). 284.2500 is most active.

Yep, they were flying over the house here. They should be up here shortly per the Seafair calendar.

On a side note, I don't think Close Call works on UHF-AM on the 396XT. Even though they were quite chatty, I couldn't pick them up at all on Close Call. Hmm... will try the GRE version in the afternoon.

I would add 237.8000 to the list; the solos were active during their morning recon and during the practice. Very worth while!

I also found that the ships in town for tours are using 380mhz DoD system that also appears to be in use by either the shipyard or Bangor or both.
