• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

PARK COUNTY - A search is underway for three missing Boy Scouts after they were last seen Wednesday morning.

The Park County Sheriff's Office says the teenagers went ahead of their group between Lost Park and Buffalo Creek and were eventually supposed to meet up with the others.

Two of the missing scouts are 14-years-old, the other is 15.

Authorities say they are well prepared, but there is concern about heavy rain and lightning in the area.

The Alpine Rescue Group plans to help with the search Thursday evening.

Authorities have not released the names of the boys.
