BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Search question

When searching in either custom or service search when receiving dmr or digital it doesn't come in you have to program each frequency to receive transmission in the clear I notice it does it also on the 996xt you need to program the frequency in to hear anything could I be doing something wrong I notice when you are in control channel only mode it will come in clear for digital.

Most of the time during search, digital is ignored.. Can't remember where the setting is.. I believe it's under Search/Close Call settings.
