Can someone confirm whether it is possible to search RR Forums for an exact phrase in quotes, or with some other syntax? So far I've not found any way to search for an exact phrase, and it appears this functionality was either "disabled" and/or intentionally not implemented. The inability to search for an exact phrase is VERY annoying and obviously wastes a lot of time when you have to review large numbers of non-responsive search results; can someone explain why it wasn't implemented?

(Or maybe I'm wrong and there is a way to do it, if so please let me know...)

If you cannot do it within RR's search engine, you can try to use Google. Immediately following your keyword(s)/keyphrase(s), in Google's search-box, press the space-bar, and enter the following:
site:forums.radioreference.com

This limits the domain in which Google will search for the keyword(s)/keyphrase(s).

This also works when searching for short strings, like 3-characters or less, like "BNC" or "P25", etc. which Radio Reference's search tool ignores/prohibits.

Hope this helps,
