Hey All,

I moved to Falmouth just before the "Blizzard" and have been searching since then for the Falmouth DPW, as I saw their trucks plowing all over the place. No joy.

I have searched this database to no avail, both the conventional DB and the trunked systems, but have found nothing.

During the storm I searched the range of 151.000-152.000 hoping to get a hit, but again, no joy.

Any help appreciated.

Best,
Jim

37.94, from my experience, sees little to no activity. Have monitored off and on for some time. They may use Nextel mostly.

I do see antennas on their vehicles. They don't seem long enough for VHF-Low. Is it possible they are on the State PD trunked system and no one has picked them up as of yet?

I will monitor the VHF-Lo as well as the trunked system over the next few weeks to see what comes up. If I confirm anything, I will add it to the DB.

Thanks guys!
Jim

Don't forget the 159 Region too, when searching

With the # of folks running trunker on Da Cape, No way.
Only PD/FD/EMS have been seen.

Could also be using a Community Repeater [Commercial Rental]

So, it's most likely conventional.

This is great, I love the hunt usually more than what it is I'm hunting!

153.86 is Falmouth FD Fire Alarm maintenance.

Thanks, that I have already.

I haven't really listened to it much when visiting over the years, but now that I am here full time, I am going park on it for awhile at some point, just for grins and giggles.

And the Cape if full of Trunked Systems [M and LTR] for Rentals...
just adding, places to search

Good idea. This will take awhile, but it's worth it, just to say "Gotcha!", and then move on to the next challenge.

Thanks. I noticed those. I will be searching also for the Lawrence Lynch company. I have noticed a nice antenna tower on their property for awhile, but the VHF-Lo freq for them has not turned up any real prospects. I will try also the trunked systems.

Thanks to all.
