Listening this morning turned up the following:
8288 (800 system) = 518 (P25 system) [FDNY 6A ADMIN]
8304 (800 system) = 519 (P25 system) [FDNY 6B OPS]
9584 (800 system) = 599 (P25 system)
11808 (800 system) = 738 (P25 system)
13696 (800 system) = 856 (P25 system) [NURSING HOME CH. 2]
33216 (800 system) = 2076 (P25 system) [ACS FACILITIES]

Also heard on 800 system was TG 48496 digital voice
Are you stating that you heard all of those talkgroups on the P25 system? Or did you simply convert the SmartZone TGID to the P25 equivalent for reference?

What is the 6B ops channel used for?

I have a strange one this morning on the P25 system. TG 644 shows up on both the UHF and the 7/800 cells. I can not tell if it is a specific radio ID that captures one cell vs the other as I am using my Uniden BCD396T handheld.

TG 644, 645 has always been heard on both UHF and 7/800 Cells, sometimes the same radio ID and sometimes with different radio IDs, makes me to believe they have a mix of UHF and 700 MHz radios with common talkgroup.

Do you think TG 644 is Department of Investigation? They are one of the first user on the P25 system many years ago.

Or more likely APX 8000 that can function on either cell. Keep in mind with a P25 system like this, the frequency bands are largely irrelevant as far as the system itself is concerned. Any talkgroup, if permitted to do so, can come up on any RF site regardless of frequency.

The following unknowns on the P25 system have been heard over the past week:
599 (7/800 cell) <---- definitely mentioning bodies and body bags
618 (7/800 cell)
644 (UHF & 7/800 cells)
645 (UHF cell)
738 (7/800 cell)
1050 (UHF & 7/800 cells)

Think this is either Medical Examiner 1 or 2 (probably 1 since that's the only one I've heard speaking on the 800 mhz)

TG 850 on P25 doing radio checks and then bleed-through possibly 13600 (ACS) on the 800 system.
Also TG 1102 on P25 which could be 17632 (Commissioner ALERT) on the 800 system. Both heard on the 7/800 cell.

Picking up TG 40928 on UHF, sounds encrypted. Could be one of the division secure TGs

As we identify who is on a TG, I lock it out and continue searching. It has been dead quiet today except for a few key clicks on TG 599 (body bag channel). The search continues...

Keep up the good work Charlie and others. My only problem is I only have one LSM capable radio (SDS100) and I am pretty far from the city so I need a separate Yagi to monitor the 700/800 system and the UHF system but cant listen to both at the same time. I'm putting up a dual band yagi shortly which I hope will get both systems adequately. We shall see. But I am lucky to hear both systems as well as the Metro 25 system and the old UHF analog DOITT systems all the time. This to me is the most interesting part of the hobby as N2NOV stated. The search.....
