Didn't think I should start a new thread, so I'm going to bump this from a year and a half ago.

Have been logging a few new TGs which I believe are in the range that FDNY uses on SDRTrunk today. These are showing up with 3 digit RIDS, and are showing as encrypted.

12867
12872
12873
12867

I've also been picking up TG 14005 for a while now but haven't been able to identify who it is.

Has anyone else found/identified these or other unknown TGs?

I keep picking up these TGs.

7102 - Calling each other by their full names, sounds like they were referencing Manhattan Criminal Court.
7907 (lots of chatter) - Gave an address and said "they're digging in the middle of the street and can't stop the water". Also mentioned work being done on a "broken service line", as well as an "emergency shutdown call" followed by an address. Must be something DEP related.
7911- Said something to the effect of Catskill and there being no flow change. Sounds like this is also DEP and they're referring to the reservoir up there.
7912 (A lot of chatter) - Heard someone say "DEP to Atlantic". Also heard things such as "Red Hook" "Rockaway" and "Hunts Point" "Coney Island" They often say they dropped off 0 picked up 1". Another DEP talkgroup.
7918 (A lot of chatter) - Talking about job numbers, other than that they're very hard to understand. I would guess it's also DEP since it seems they're operating within this range.
14005 (A lot of chatter) - I hear this quite often. They reference sergeants, command, call the dispatcher "central" and "base", talk about patrols, overhear the sergeants coming over as "Area (number) sergeant", referenced locations such has Cypress Hills and Greenpoint. No idea what this is.

Why not enter/submit to RRDB?
Also you posted in another thread…the talkgroups for OneVoice 5 Boro Bike Tour. But that’s still not in RRDB.
It’s generous of you to reply with great info, but wouldn’t having it in the DB be better?

Note to the two of you who have recently submitted to the NYCICN, I've got them all and will get to them in the next few days. I have to go through them to weed out the dupes, as you both submitted quite a few of the same talkgroups at roughly the same time.

Forgive me if this question has been answered already, as I really don't care to listen to NYC, but I see a bunch of FDNY and FDNY EMS Encrypted Talkgroups on the NYCICN system. What is their use specifically?

Did FDNY fully switch off of UHF analog and move to the NYCICN system? Or are they multicasting the traffic?
Yes, I realize trunked is encrypted and you can't hear the audio but has anyone compared traffic simultaneously or heard anything on the other end?

Picking up 11976 for the first time in a while, doing surveillance. They're using NYPD lingo (but what NYC LE doesn't?)
What did they say exactly? You should be able to differentiate from NYPD easily

I'm seeing TGs in the 127## range quite often (including the ones I have previously posted). I guess these are the admin/ems division TGs and such

Started picking up 10511. Not sure what it is at all.

Edit: Probably DOC, realized that’s in their TG range. They're referencing sally ports.
