If you'd like to meet up with a great bunch of radio enthusiasts in the Tucson and the surrounding area, this meeting is for you.
We meet for dinner between 6p and 9p. It's pay as you go, and you are not required to eat dinner. We take over a section of the Village Inn restaurant. We are a very informal group. Everyone in the group has a special area of knowledge and is always willing to share.
This meeting is for the new scannerist, to the old crusty know-it-all.
No Dues at all !
In the past we have demonstrated new radios and equipment, software, etc. We've built antennas. We've checked out radio performance capabilities with electronic testing equipment. We also have the power as a group to occasionally buy things at a discounted rate, since we as a group can buy in bulk.
Tomorrow night I can tell you that those in attendance will be able to purchase a telescoping antenna mast, at a great price. It will be demonstrated at the meeting. Gotta be there to get more details
