Most of us enjoy listening to commercial aviation, public safety communications. .. coast guard and such. But how about things like hotels, casino's,tow trucks. .Things of that nature.

Just curious about this area as to if there is alot of radio activity? Last time I was in this area it was very rural. Is it still like this?
What county is the Custer area in? I know that I know this but right of the top of my head I am at a loss here.

I myself could care less about that kind of stuff. just for the simple fact I dont do Hotels and only would go to a Casino for food like two times a year and i drive new cars so I wont need a tow truck, so plane and simple I could care less about that kind of scanner stuff.

seeing as there could be actually 10 trillion uses for just about any frequency and any one agency can use radios with or without a license. the best thing to check your questions against is the FCC for starts.

http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchAdvanced.jsp

there are a lot of lists on line, like RR and the northwest frequency directory book (they have a fair amount of data non government) or intercept NW (northwest radio)

however the best way for you to find them is to go there and run a counter or your scanner "close call" feature. As there is no point publishing small corporate frequencys that can change when they want as cost isnt a huge issue and well, they are low power so people in tacoma dont care what the frequency of mcdonalds drive thru in bellevue is. (however most mcdonalds apply for one licence and use it regionally)

as for the event at the qwest stadium yesterday - it was a seahawks game. where we played like a seattle team, yes its a lot of rookies but damn it was a nail biter...

i wasn't being literal, the great majority of corporations apply for 1 license and use it universally. this isnt the case for everything but most of the time it can be applied to small corporate use of radio such as house keeping at hilton etc.

Can anyone confirm these to be in use at Safeco field. I am in the heart of Winslow/Bainbridge island. I have heard activity from Qwest. Never anything from Safeco field

452.075 462.45 464.2 452.150 all repeater simplex 452.25 452.7 461.225 461.80 463.20 462.55 ops simplex 462.975 seattle talkgroup 24912

I tried to do some monitoring my first game back in 2006.. I couldn't even get my scanner to scan, let alone find anything related to Safeco operations.
