So I was down at the Seattle Center couple weeks back for the Livestrong thing and I was wondering, anyone know what the setup is there? UHF presumably. As for freqs and such not a clue.
Sad to say our ARTCC listing for ZSE (Seattle center) is way out of date, and no one has updated it in 3 years. Maybe a better bet would be to see if someone on the Washington Scan or NWScan Yahoo group has a current listing. Note that Yahoo was scheduled to be down for a time tonight due to maintenance, but they should be back shortly. These 2 groups are listed on the Washington collaboration page (just click on the blue text).
I think he means the city owned facility, not the air traffic control out of Burien. I thought SC was on the trunk system?

They also have a UHF repeater and some UHF simplex frequencies. WPYH468 and WPUW584. I haven't confirmed any of them. Check out the eligibility requirements on the IG.

No they are on the Seattle trunk, but you have to listen to the columbia tower since they're Seattle-specific. They don't x-mit that much however - even when events are going on...
I haven't been there in a long time, but security was usually handled by SPD.
