i just recently got dsd+fastlane and got it all installed and setup with rtl-sdr and i was wondering if someone could guide me
to what trunking control channel i need or whatever to listen to my local police and ambulance for king county and surrounding areas

Do you have one - or two RTL-SDRs?
That makes a difference in how you set things up.
And, where you are at, because you need to know what control channel to put into your fnp24.

Also, be aware. KCERS (old Motorola analogue system) is in process of being replaced.
Go to RR and look at PSERN.
