Boulder County GREEN is primary.

I can't keep track of where they are or how big. 1st one was at 2 acres last I could tell.
One near Olde Stage I don't know yet.
Lots of horse evacuations and other action.

Sounds like fire is now 25 acres and at least 2 houses, preparing for it to possibly jump US-36 and reverse 911 also in progress for the area as well as lots more depts being paged mut aid.

Boulder County U/D: Now dealing with poss hazmat issues at a warehouse in the fire area with 3214 placards. Fire is now 100+ acres, more M/A being paged.

EOC opened and 11,000 homes have received evac requests.

Olde Stage Fire

Boulder County Emergency Services 1590 is command with Boulder Mountain FD, add these fire departments to the Olde Stage Road wildland firestorm, Rocky Mountain, Boulder, Hygiene, Mountain View, Lyons, Boulder Rural, Sunshine Canyon, Lafayette, Longmont, Gold Hill, Coal Creek Canyon, Lefthand Canyon, Four Mile Canyon & Louisville.

Fire is heading now to the Lake Valley subdivison.

The house that was on fire on Neva Rd. is a total loss.

I found the link to monitor Red1 from the Boulder County website.

but http://co.scanamerica.us/index.php did not have any online scanners for boulder.

Is there one that would monitor TG:9111 and 9112.

I am stuck at work and can't get to my own scanner until later.

Update: 9:10 p.m.

County officials have released the following statistics of the Olde Stage Road Fire, which remains uncontained:

Size: 6,400 acres, or 14 square miles

Fire boundaries: The intersection of Lee Hill Road and Broadway on the south, to Olde Stage Road on the west, to Lefthand Canyon on the north and Lake Valley Estates on the southeast. Firefighters are focusing on the Lake Valley Estates neighborhood and the Dakota Ridge Subdivision in north Boulder.

Road closures: North Foothills Highway (U.S. 36 north of Boulder) closed between Broadway and Nelson Road; all roads west of North Foothills Highway are closed for at least three miles, including Lefthand Canyon Road; Olde Stage Road and Lee Hill Road are closed; Boulder Reservoir is closed; limited access on roads from North Foothills Highway to North 63rd Street.

Evacuations: 11,241 homes evacuated, and at least 75 evacuees are at Niwot High School.

Neighborhoods affected by the fire but not evacuated: Pine Brook Hills, Carriage Hills and Boulder Heights.

Electricity outages: Crews from Xcel Energy and Longmont Power and Communications are shutting off power in areas immediately in the fire's path to avoid creating additional hazards

Call just went out in the area of 5562 Old Stage Road, that structures are now involved.

Also calls going out about foot traffic heading into open space area from the Lee Hill Road and 5th street area.

Multiple calls out to Strike Team Alpha at last known location of 6116 Old Stage Road. No response...

Last call from them, fire was picking up in that area.

Found Strike Alpha team. Looks like they were in a dangerous situation and trying to get out fo the area. Due to dangerous situations of terrain, and weather, they are talking of moving out of the area of 5562 to 6116 Old Stage Road.

Sounds like fire has jumped Old Stage Road and continues to move west.

More evacuations went out and they are trying to clear out more homes. Those who are being evacuated on the North side of Old Stage are being staged and Niwot and or Cenntenial High School.
