Present her with a piece of jewelry worth at least $500.
Justify it by buying her something equal in value,I do for my wife whenever I decide to get something expensive,keeps me from getting knots from a iron skillet.

If both your scanners look the same, just don't keep 'em in the same room. As long as she don't see two at the same time, will she realize you have more than one?

Why don't you program it and give it to her? She will love the alert LED with the flashing purple color -- I know I do! Besides, it is a wonderful hobby to share with your spouse.

Tell her it is a stereo scanner unit , and that you must have both for audio balance. :twisted:
And..... not having the other one would be like removing one of the speakers from your home entertainment center. :lol:

Tell her you're gonna raise scanners. The new one is a male, and there should be a bunch of little scanners around in a few months that you can then sell.

Tell her you bought it off ebay for really cheap. Make up a price like 30 bucks. I do it all the time. Works for me everytime.
