One of the other news reports from a different news source had some pictures of the seized equipment, there were pictures of DB404/DB420 UHF commercial antennas and GHZ band link equipment.... nothing pictured/mentioned was in the HF band, everything I saw pictured was commercial VHF and UHF stuff.

Anybody recognize those portables on the table or those base stations in the video? Or any of the radio gear? Most are the same. Just curious as I don't recognize them. What kind of equipment did they have in place? It's interesting what kind of network they were able to put together for their own personal use.

Could have sworn someone posted a link here this past year talking about the trunked (and possibly encrypted) network of sites just South of the US Border that one of the cartels had built.

Most of the portables pictured are Kenwood NX300 UHF NEXEDGE Digital radios....very well could have been digital trunked/encrypted.
