Here's a Goggle Maps\Earth mashup site that shows military operations areas, bases, routes, special use airspace, low altitude training routes etc etc.
You can enter any airport identifier and display whatever routes you select in that area.
You can do a 3D flythrough of a route in Google Earth and lots of clickable info for bases, etc. Check out the Military Aircraft link for pics/profile of active military aircraft.

There is a ton of useful info here - the site is to aid pilots in avoiding mid-air collisions and near mid-air collsions but can help you easily find active routes to monitor in your area.
Found it in the "Avoiding Midair Collisions" article, December edition of Flying Magazine.

Sorry - the 3D flythrough is limited to one sample route at this time but looks like they may add more in the future. My mistake.
