Seeing unit ID on Analog UHF Transmissions

Hello. I have a BCD536HP scanner. In various cities around me that use conventional UHF-T band (analog mode) I can hear the unit ID transmission that goes to the dispatch center. Is there a way for me to see the unit ID on my scanner? I know this is possible on the P25 transmission, so wondering if it can be done on analog systems.

What you are most likely hearing is MDC tone.

You can use a decoder to decode it

That’s why I bought a UHF VHF Motorola radio shows me the IDs. I wish it would show you an analog and digital only for trunk systems. But if you have an SDS 100 or 200 you will be able to see the digital ID conventional, but not analog
