Just to follow up, once I got some details figured out, the 15x is performing well. I can receive a handful of Indy Center RCAG sites with some noise. Columbus Approach/Departure is loud and clear, especially the Richmond site, but Brookville is good as well. Local civilian Tower/Ground is down in the noise, and the local AFB even more so. I'm hoping that when I receive my DPD Miltenna, the local ground station situation will improve (currently using a dual-band 144/440 J-pole). If necessary, I can get a few extra feet of height on my receive antenna and move it out of the attic and outside.
