Seems like Hartford PD is getting more and more quiet..

Anyone else notice that Hartford EDACS system is getting very quiet?
I know the FD moved to CLRMN a while ago, but it seems like the PD activity has gone done considerably also.
Anyone have any scoop on this ? Thanks,

It might be a distant issue. Your location, at least on RR is set as Rocky Hill. I've myself noticed that the range of the system has deteriorated lately and I'm not getting as much as I was previously. But to be fair, I've moved further from my previous town which is much farther from Hartford, thankfully.

I'm in the Cromwell area. I am monitoring them now and they seem pretty busy.

I don't monitor them regularly, but I used to. I'm using a 996XT to monitor them now. Good luck!

As the weather changes and gets colder, I would imagine the level of activity drops. Also, staffing is way down so there are not a lot of service calls that get handled by road officers but rather reports are taken by phone.
All the EDACS trunked channels are still active, there has been no obvious activity with testing the new system (I think it is a ways from turning it on).

I can receive them pretty well, its just seems to be considerably less traffic.
