I have been monitoring the Seminole County Florida Fire Feed for years and have noticed some strange problems in the last few weeks.
Prior to the system migrating to P25 earlier this year, the feed performed flawlessly. Since the feed migrated to P25 there have been problems with both over and under modulation issues. Most recently, there have been problems with dispatch information not being transmitted, as well as only occasional fireground transmissions being heard.
I recently reached out to a close friend who lives in Seminole County, who monitors this system with a HomePatrol using a stock antenna and he reports no problem with simulcast distortion and or monitoring problems with Seminole County Fire Rescue.
I have reached out to the feed provider a few times in both feed problem reports, but the problem does not seem to be improving.
I really enjoy this feed and I hope that it is able to return to it's full capabilities soon.
