no t receiveing radio talk on seminole police or fire. I understand they have changed freq. does anyon know what they changed to.

I have a older radio shack scanner.Just ordered ahome patrol uniden. will I be able to receive pd and fd on it.years ago I worked for TI.I haven't kept up with the new stuff

If they went Mototrbo, no you won't be able to hear them.

Right we have a mototrbo repeater at work we are running it in analog mode until we get our 20 portables replaced. Can't be heard with a scanner when in digital mode

Just asked a friend, they have had them for a while but the radio shop has had trouble getting them to work right. They may be back on analog before long.

Or just buy a mototrbo radio, the you're in business.
