Does anyone know if you can get to this by walking from the boardwalk?

Also is there any scanner frequencies here?

Definately too far a walk in the winter from the boardwalk. If you have a Total Rewards player's card, you can use it to take the Harrah's free shuttle from Showboat/Bally's and ride over to Harrah's. Harrah's is next to Trump Marina, and would be <5 minute walk to the marina. Otherwise, ride the Jitney, only $2 anywhere in the city. If you have a Resorts players card, you ride the Jitney for free.

NJ State Marinas

The only thing that you would hear on a scanner related to the marina would be any of the DEP freq's (Main/Simplex & Parks) and the Marine band freq's that the boats use. The State Rangers patrol the Marinas very infrequently. Cheesequake SP would patrol the Leonardo SM to kick out the skateboarders during the summertime or to provide a presence for high profile events (Governor visiting, large events with media coverage, etc.).

I believe that Trump Marine has a contract to operate the marina and I don't every remember the State Rangers ever being there.
I can't remember which marine ch that Farley uses for boaters to hail for dock/berth info.

FYI: the USCG station is directly up the street and the radio tower fell down in the wind the other night. Picture in today's AC Press.
