I have both the BCD536 and an SDS200. I’m assuming all I have to do is switch my “target” radio in the software to whichever one I’m getting ready to plug into to program.

That's basically what I've done. A specific profile for each of my x36HP & SDS series scanners. That way, when I choose the profile for a certain unit, it changes the target model to correspond with the scanner. It also maintains the separate download & default monitoring choices for each one, As you've noted, the same list of Favorites are present regardless of profile or target model choices. But, depending on the scanner, there is a different set of lists assigned lists to be used on each one..
