BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Sentinel: Can't Remove FIPS Codes in Profile?

As I plan travel around the country in my RV I like to set up a profile in advance for the 436 that has the WX SAME system preprogrammed with the FIPS codes for the areas I know I'll be visiting. Works well.

Problem comes when I want to modify the profile in advance of the next trip. If I just edit over the old data in Sentinel by entering a new 6-digit number - no problem, but if there are cells that I want to clear by entering "------" it seems to take it, but the change is not saved when closing the profile and then reopening. Any tricks to work around this?

I duplicated that as a bug. You could manually edit the profile file (My Documents\Uniden\BCDx36HP\Profile\[profile name]\profile.cfg).

I'd first make a backup of the cfg file, then carefully edit that file using notepad.
