RESOLVED Sentinel Channel Name Insanity

I'm trying to paste a channel name in the Channel name column in Sentinel. See the attached screenshot for the error I am getting.

Any ideas? Should I track down an exorcist?

Yep that happens. You have to match the selected area exactly with the destination area (one box vs. complete line).

Select just a box and copy, then click into the box and paste. Play around with it, you'll get used to it. After a awhile you will be pasting hundreds or even thousands of entries at one time. It's possible.

I has the same problem until I clicked a blank area on the page and hit paste. It worked for me and I suggest you try thar.

With all due respect, read the error message. You're trying to paste the channel name into the Avoid field.

Sentinel only paste into the box that are blue, so no way it should try to paste into the avoid box as the error texts suggests.
It's a bug probably in relation with some other application in Win10. Maybe its a VNC remote session being done and the sync between remote and local screens are messed up?

Sentinel will indeed paste into the avoid field, I do it all the time. If what's in the clipboard is bigger than the selection (what's "blue"), it will paste into following fields as needed. Likely the OP copied both the text he wants as his channel name, plus a preceding tab character.
