And also tell us what does "HPF" stand for and what does it do? The options are auto, normal or inverted.

That doesn't really describe what HPF is. I presume it is High Pass Filter? What is the filter frequency, something fixed or just passes everything above and including the tuned frequency? Does inverted mean Low Pass Filter? Interested to know what it is doing.

So nothing has changed in that document from yesterday with the exception that their is a update to remove the original setting. No explanation of what each setting does and that's what most of us are looking for.

Hello people. I see Uniden has a new version 2.01.01 of Sentinal available. My current version is 2.00 which I downloaded when I bought my SDS100. Question if you put the new version in you don’t lose your all your data that you had in the previous version do you? Also I guess you can’t download this new version from Sentinal can you?

No data loss.
Open Sentinel
Click on Update>Update Master Database
Sentinel will advise that database can’t be updated until new version of Sentinel is installed.
Sentinel will shutdown and should then direct you to the Sentinel download page.
Download the new version and install.
The download takes longer than the install itself.

Just noticed another update today. Fixes a bug introduced with with the previous mentioned update. You’ll have to update again.
