Sentinel Question: Getting Names To Agree ?

Hello,

Am in Sentinel. (have a 436)

Playing with my FAV lists.

Am trying to get the names for System, Department, and Channels that I set
in the right hand Pane with the “Edit Favorites List” icon (Favorites List Editor)
to be the same as what appears in the left hand pane views.

Just cannot seem to ever get them to agree with each other, no matter what I do.

I can change the name in either pane view, but afterwards they don’t agree with each other.

The change in one does not seem to (ever) carry over to the other.

What is the trick to doing so, or what procedure should I use ?

The tree view on the left isn't synced when you make changes to the favorite list. Changes you make will be saved, but the tree view won't reflect resorting or name changes unless you save and exit, then reopen the favorite list in the editor.

I think I am understanding your question correctly...

Are you clicking on a System in the left, and the drop downs for Departments then open on the right side of the screen?

If so, it should be as simple as editing the field for the Department on the right hand side and pressing enter. This should carry over to the Department list under the System on your left side.

But I am thinking it is not working right for you?

After making entries, you need to move up one level on the tree for these changes to take place. Always make the changes in the right pane, move up one level, and your change will show on left.

When you do that, it causes the screen to "refresh" and then display your changes.
