Sentinel software for BCD436HP

I just ordered a 436HP and downloaded the Sentinel software online. I have created a favorites list, my dumb question is? Can I just download that favorites list into the scanner and it's ready to go. Not sure if I have to number each system(SD inter agency/brookings INT) then number each department such as Miner Co SO. I live in Howard and would like to moniter the surrounding counties.
