I don't now what happen but after I did the update, on Sentinel 12/18/2023, I noticed that all my Edit Profile settings were changed. All my quick keys were checked, location was wrong, global settings was incorrect. What happen to my .CFG? I had to create a new location for the program. Some how some way the update went to my One Drive and I no longer use it. If I could only recover my original saved and updated Sentinel. How do I stop the white blinking light above the Function Key on my SDS200. I did notice that the white light only blinks if I turn of the back screen .

The only way that could happen is if you included the folder sentinel keeps the stuff in, into your onedrive.

If you did not write to the scanner, reading the scanner should retrieve your settings. If that works, I would suggest, since everything you want is in the scanner, verify the folder location in Sentinel in the Tools tab. If its pointing to Onedrive, change it to where it should be or reinstall Sentinel. Then read the scanner again.

These are the contents of the folder if you want to search your PC and or Onedrive.

What about the other issues?

“I noticed that all my Edit Profile settings were changed. All my quick keys were checked, location was wrong, global settings was incorrect. What happen to my .CFG? I had to create a new location for the program. Some how some way the update went to my One Drive and I no longer use it.”

I hesitate updating Sentinel if I’m going to catch all that grief…

Based on OP’s prior posts my money is on having more than one folder with Sentinel files and has confused two of them and now pointing to an old profile.cfg file.
I suspect you're right. I've never had Sentinel change any of my profile settings when doing the main database update. I have several profiles, specific to certain designated scanners, and have not had any unexpected, nor unspecified, changes made.

Just a thought - my three SDS100’s were saving to a Windows 11 Desktop “SDS100” folder.
One Drive backs up that folder and I noticed recently that downloads were going to One Drives Desktop folder not the actual Desktop on the Surface Pro. Not sure that would cause your issue but I didn’t realize (or forgot) it was even backing up that folder or saving downloads there.
