Sentinel Update Question

My apologies if this has been answered before. When I download the weekly database to Sentinel and then write it to my radio are my favorite lists in Sentinel and in the radio updated too? Say if a talk group in one of my favorite lists has changed, is the new information contained in the updated database written to the favorite list in the radio or just the master data base?

You are on your own to update the Favorite List, as the weekly database update does not touch them.

No, your favorites are not touched by database update. You have to do that yourself periodically.

Just to add...
If nothing is changed of what you are monitoring in your favorite list/lists... No need to update them...
You said there where changes to what you monitor... So as stated above you have to change it yourself...

And the reason why Favorites Lists are not touched is that many users "polish" Favorites Lists with different tags, alert lights and so on. A lot of effort could be undone with automatic updates and users would have to repeat the "polishing".

And yes, this question has come up numerous times in the past.
