Not exactly no. It is specifically designed for the BCDX36HP SCANNERS
Only sameness is the basic of infrastructure design.

Even the file structures are not exactly the same.

You can import home patrol files to the x36 Sentinel and it will import and blow away the extra fields, but you can't go the other way.

Also, the home patrol version (for both hp1 and hp2) has specific settings and such just for those radios

The x36 version has a general same structure, but like I indicated above, the x36 files contain additional data that supports features of the x36 radios that the home patrol doesn't have, like quick keys and other functions.

Bottom line, you need to use x36 Sentinel for those radios and home patrol Sentinel for those radios.
