Not a problem George. It's important the public is kept up-to-date on what their local agencies are doing and performing. Your tax dollars go to these people. (Actually with many taking DHS dollars, all of out tax dollars are going to many of these departments).
Just a reminder this is tonight, 1900 hours, Nehawka Fire Station which is on the West side of town.
The other night Murray had a trailer burn. They hauled the other two to the West side of town, as from what I've been told Sharps from Plattsmouth is just going to haul them off.

The next mtg is in November, most likely at the Union fire station.
From the meeting here are some notes:
- Reference 800MHz system, many of the shelters are in place and antennas on towers. Still waiting for a tower on the West side of the county.
- Moving all fire depts to VHF paging (goal for a date in the Spring).
- Will simulcast current .815 with 800MHz for some time while the new system is in use until the cutover date takes place.
- Oct 8 0800, house burn in WeeWa next to the school.
- Pushing for a radio training class on use of the new radios and how to use the different channel lineup, etc.
- Most likely would use the old .815 freq as a secondary fire freq.
