I was looking to buy a Uniden 996XT but the prices seem to have gone up by $40 within the last month.

Seems like the distributors passed the savings into their coffers instead. A shame.

I just did another look at 436 prices. Saw no changes. They either "didn't get the memo" or the price drop is on "selected items".

Upman, can you advise if this was intended to apply to all products (noting that the dealers control their prices).
