Serial Mode Verification (SDS200)

Hello,

For the SDS200:

If I hit the "." button upon startup, to put the unit into Serial Mode,
should this screen stay ? e.g., is a simple quick push of "." enough, should it be held longer, or...?

After pressing it, it seems to go right into the normal scanning.

Any way of verifying if truly in Serial Mode ?
(or is there some trick to locking it into Serial Mode ? Would like to try using the Virtual Control in Butel ARC536 or ProScan)

If the screen doesn't show "Mass Storage" it's in serial mode.

Once you press the ".", it is in serial mode.
Look in Device Manager of the connected PC.
Look under ports....
